Health-tech start-up Soom opens new Rotterdam Office

Based in Boston in the United States, Soom’s new office in CIC Rotterdam enables it to more efficiently help medical device manufacturers doing business in Europe comply with the upcoming EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR). These regulations aim to improve medical device safety and effectiveness. But for many manufacturers, compliance can be expensive and time-consuming. Soom’s patented platform makes electronic instructions for use (eIFU), a requirement of MDR, simple, cost-effective and futureproof.
